About Me

I qualified with CIPFA way back in 1997 and initially worked in the public sector (the civil service, local authority and health service).

In 2009 I joined West Yorkshire Community Accountancy Service as a community accountant. My role was to support organisations in Leeds and to prepare and conduct independent examination of the annual accounts. I also delivered training on a number of themes, from QuickBooks set up / usage to trustees financial responsibilities. In 2022 I decided to move away, to work directly for a Leeds community organisation. This enhanced my hands-on experience.

In this way, my perspective is both that of the accountant and the organisation. I rely on this experience to guide and support you with the financial management of your organisation.
